After the death of his daughter, Pastor James is devastated and inconsolable because he has lost the apple of his eyes. He is feeling even more broken by the fact that his wife believes he is directly responsible for the death of their child. He turns his anger towards God for letting him down again and threatens to walk away from his mission for good. His wife threatens to expose him as a cult member if he does not quit the shadowy organisation. He is finally convinced to listen to his wife threat when his son and only surviving child become strangely ill. He receives a powerful visit in his dream that sets in motion a series of events that will lead to his reconnection with God in a way he has never experienced before.
