Then one day evil came to town. Murder, fear, and horror followed. And if I want to stop it, I have to destroy my quiet life and disturb the universe. I have to find out why I exist. I have to discover the true nature of whatever god rules from on high. He's got some things to answer for. "The Eternal Footman" is part hardboiled detective story, part existential drama about a lost man fighting to make sense of the insane world in which he finds himself trapped.
