Some monsters are real, and the dark holds many things to fear. Carta city is growing colder, winter is coming and with it a monster stirs in the darkness. The shadows are on the move, the world growing silent. Veteran homicide detective Aiden Haxton must conquer his ambivalence and ever growing personal doubt in order to follow the clues left in the wake of a psychopathic killer claiming to be a god.
