Life! You take the good with the bad, the turns with the twists and you keep on going. Along the way you meet many people, some who leave footprints, others leave holes, but with each experience you learn about yourself and build your strength. Poetry has always been my strength to get through the toughest of times. Being a survivor of that vicious cycle of abuse, I have had to battle some rough days, but now as a wife and mother I battle new turns and twists. I welcome each new experience with both open arms and mind. This collection of poems may revisit the demons of the past that can sneak into the present, but battles through them and cherishes the brightness of today, while awaiting the greatness of tomorrow. The oldies but goodies section contains the prose that I found in an old box, waiting to be shared?so I am. Remember, as adults, even the lemonade we had as kids can bring back memories, but with life?s amazing twists!
