Peggy Jaegly
In author Peggy Jaegly's Sweetheart Stops the Bullies, pony Sweetheart meets and befriends Bob, a sad, champion horse with a disability. Bob is teased and bullied--until he meets Sweetheart, who stops the abuse. Though Sweetheart thinks he is teaching his new friend how to enjoy life, Bob astounds all the animals and humans on the farm when he reveals his unique talent.
With illustrations by Douglas Turnipseed, Sweetheart Stops the Bullies is the latest in the Sweet Pony series, which has been praised by parents and teachers. Peggy's other books include: Sweetheart's Gift and Sweetheart's Treasure Hunt.
