"Were you ever raped?" My snap, knee-jerk reply was "No--Just molested." Like that was Okay? I lied that night to my dear friend. While I had shared with my close friends snapshots of my past and certain stories or memories that had come to mind, none of those friends had ever directly asked me that question before. Until that night, I had never seriously considered sharing my story.

That question was the catalyst to what you are now about to experience in revisiting my most vivid memories of childhood abuse. How I endured, coped, survived and healed from my past. This journey is one of pain, terror and an emotional roller coaster, but it is also a story of faith, resilience, hope, forgiveness and the magnificent blessing of healing and thriving.
