My story begins in the Brickyard section of Lynn, Ma in the early 1960?s. My parents, recent Italian immigrants, were working hard to settle into a new world while holding on to their old culture. I struggled with trying to straddle two different worlds, trying to figure out where I fit in and who I wanted to be. My motives were always simple but my strategies were not always sensible. I share my journey through my inexperience, always hopeful that I would get the hang of it as I go.
