Sometimes it's the crippled who help us walk, and the blind who help us see. The disabled/handicapped individuals interviewed in this book have all certainly helped me beyond words and have enriched my life, each in their own unique way. I found myself becoming a better person simply from being around them. Along with newfound friendships, I began writing their stories. As I witnessed myself being changed by those I encountered, I felt sharing their lives could and would be beneficial for many. At times, it seemed as if God sent certain people my way just for me to write about them.
