Using a specific area in Ross County, this book explores and documents the buildings that were built from stone. Written while the author was still a student in college, it explains the different types of stone construction, lists every stone structure discovered, tells how they were built, shows a photograph of each example, and explores their significance to early pioneering Ohio. The results are not only interesting and informative, but can also be extrapolated to Ohio as a whole.
