Mattie's battles are personal and spiritual as she discovers another woman, by the name of Pauline is interested in Jedidiah and is determined to have him at any cost. Mattie has to see Pauline as the victim from a horrific past instead of a maniacal enemy bent on destroying Mattie and the one she loves. Mattie is summoned to a spiritual table where she sits and chats with the "Master Builder" Himself who reiterates the urgency of the God-given message she carries. He warns that His coming is soon. He challenges Mattie to continue spreading the message of His love, forgiveness and deliverance from the pain of the past while exonerating her from the responsibility of having to convince the recipients of the message that it's Originator is authentic.
