The Sweet Smell of Rotten Eggs
Ed Christie
ABOUT THE STORY The Christie's have twenty two grandchildren, and this is the first of several fiction books in which a different group of the children visit their grandparents ranch during summer vacation. Each of the children has their own unique adventure in which the others may also play a part. Horses, cattle, skunk and mountain lion encounters, Indian caves, gold discovery, a kidnapping, and being lost in the mountains are woven into this first book. Collette, Christie, Martin, Johnathan and Sarah have a summer adventure to remember for a lifetime. There is laughter, sadness, joy, fear and excitement during their visit. It is a moral book with issues of integrity, love, fairness, and discipline woven throughout. This is a refreshingly wholesome fiction book of children's adventures on their grandparents Oregon Ranch.
