"Hiding Their Discretions Behind the Cross" chronicles moments of my experiences, paying special attention to processes normally involved in seeking to find, keep, or reconcile the loss of a bond with another person. The book was arranged around my perceptions of particular individuals. They have "three things in common; they all tried to rob me of my dignity, my integrity and my self-esteem." Using a generally straightforward approach, the author integrates personal observation and scriptural interpretation in an effort to create a thorough yet accessible resource. This book is designed to mark phases of my own journey as well as to enlighten and provoke thought for the reader who may be following a similar path.
