Why does he abuse me?

I believe the one question that remains unanswered for nearly every Victim of abuse....is Why? Why does he abuse me? What have I done so terribly wrong, that he would treat me the way he does? Why? Why do I get blamed for everything that goes wrong? Why? I haven't done anything wrong..so why? Somehow, there never seems to be a logical explanation for the mistreatment of innocent victims. I believe, if the truth were known, even the abuser himself, couldn't tell you WHY. But I've come to the conclusion...that the reason we can't come up with an answer to WHY is because there was NO REASON TO BEGIN WITH.
