And We Call Ourselves Men!: Becoming the men We Need to Be Travis Kelly

And We Call Ourselves Men!

From our evolution to manhood to our relationships and how we raise our children "And We Call Ourselves Men!" is one of the most interesting paperbacks in recent times. "And We Call Ourselves Men!" takes a look at how we as African American men view ourselves and how others view us as well. In this attractive piece you won't find any scientific statistical data or research outcomes. Surprisingly enough, what can be found is an exceptional perception of concrete issues through life experiences that African American men face on a daily basis that are tied to lessons learned and that are built on realistic perspectives that we can all relate to in some form or another. What's most intriguing about this work of art is its ability to stimulate the thought process on how we can began to make ourselves better as men, not only for ourselves, our relationships and our children but for our society as a whole. "And We Call Ourselves Men!" is definitely a must for those of us trying to understand what we should be to our women, our children and to ourselves. And that's simply better!
