The Valiant Christian Woman: a Devotional & Activities Book for Women's Ministry: Volume I Ruby Peterson

"Woman's ministry? What women's ministry?" "The women in our congregation seem so disconnected!" "Our women are stuck in a rut..." "I want to do something, but I don't know where to begin." Sound familiar? The Valiant Christian Woman, A Devotional & Activities Book for Women's Ministry Volume I, is for you. The first of two volumes, The Valiant Christian Woman is designed to help you start or supplement a women's ministry in your church. With busy women in mind (and who isn't busy these days!), Hopkins and Ulmet have carefully designed 12 lessons. Easy-to-follow instructions offer an opportunity for women of all ages to meet for a devotional, discussion, activity and prayer time together. Each 90-minute lesson can be adapted to suit the needs of your group. The lessons in Volume I use women in Bible and draw on the experiences of the women in your group to highlight characteristics of the virtuous woman in Proverbs 31. Follow up with an activity that builds on the lesson and you have a great opportunity for your women's ministry to grow! With 12 lessons, the book can easily divide into monthly get-togethers or a special quarter of getting together weekly - you decide! You will have fun getting to know each other better and exploring what insights the Bible has for women in your congregation! Go on...get started!
