I'm sure it's safe to say we can all remember singing along to the Twelve Days of Christmas as kids. Of course it was much more fun back then; it's still a classic Christmas carol. My book basically emulates that same idea. The intension for this writing is to be used as an outreach tool for both parents and children during graduation. The front portion of the book is entitled The Twelve Days of Graduation. This portion is geared to the parents in providing key topics of conversation between themselves and their graduating children. Parents are to begin this interaction twelve days before graduation. For each day counting down to graduation the book offers a quote for that day as well as a gift idea that correlates with each verse. In addition to each verse I provide an ascription page explaining the purpose for each verse and its relevance in our lives in the case of any parent whom needs this encouragement as well. The back portion is entitled The Twelve Days of Prayer. On the day of graduation this portion of the book is presented to the graduate as a gift by the parent to encourage a prayer life for the student. The fact of the matter is, our young people today are in dyer need of guidance and parents need a little encouragement to do just that. This book was designed for that purpose.
