We find that our family of many females and very few males are at a cross road as far as caring on the family name. The youngest family already have three girls and are now looked upon to try for a boy. Of course it want take much to convince the father due to his strong family values and loyalty to his father. Mother has very little say in the matter being the loyal and submissive wife she is. More surprises after the new baby arrives. There are no names mention in this book other than Don/Dawn. There is Father, Mother, Grandfather, Sister, Doctor, Nurse, Child at school, Neighbors, and Grandmother who plays a very large roll in the lives of Don/Dawn and Mother.
