In manuscript format, the Raccoon Family Adventures has been read and enjoyed by many school children; Adults and children in churches have given it a "thumbs up" for its teachings on life-management as it increases self-esteem and Christ-esteem. A dysfunctional family of raccoons experiences a chain of shocking events, surprises, and experiences which eventually lead them to come into an experience with Christ. The compassionate concern of Squeaky, the field mouse, shows the power of how God can change inappropriate behaviors into appropriate behaviors which are needed in order to live life at its highest and best. Refusing his opportunity for change, a prideful buck ignored the possibility of death and his certain accountability with God.
