"Autobiography of an Agoraphobic"details the life of Michael R. Patrick, who, for the last 30 years has sufferedwith Panic Disorder and Agoraphobia; which is a fear of open spaces, like golfcourses, or large enclosed areas, like shopping malls.  The book also reveals that a lot ofagoraphobics have heart murmurs called Mitral Valve Prolapse that can mimic apanic attack.  Once that fact wasdiscovered, Mr. Patrick was put on a beta-blocker for his Mitral Valve to functionbetter, and now Mr. Patrick has rare instances of panic attacks, even in openspaces.  It is up front and personal, and details what it feels like to have panic attacks/ MVP attacks, and how tolive with it and still enjoy life.  Itis estimated that there are more than 10 million people in the United Statesalone who have some type of Agoraphobia/ Panic Disorder.  This book will help everyone who is ready tolive a much more fulfilling life, with much less suffering.  If you, or someone you know has a fear ofgoing outside, a fear of escalators, elevators, etc. then this book is forthem.  At the heading of each chapter isa Bible verse which consummates the chapter's theme in God's eyes.  In closing, he overcame agoraphobia, and youcan too, if you read the instructions in this book.  May God bless you in your suffering and soon ease it.
