Towards the Light Christine O'Toole

This is the story of my personal journey from childhood, up until the present day. My struggles with mental illness both from the perspective of watching my mother go through this, and from the perspective of actually having a mental illness myself, have in the long term enriched my inner life. In this book I have written my story and included some basic psychological techniques and thoughts that I have used, initially, to aid my recovery. I have written my story to try to help and encourage others with similar problems and even those who don't, can gain insight. This is a mental, emotional and spiritual journey, during which I have learned a great deal about myself and others, and one which has enabled me to grow as a person.
