This fiction book is about a female prison guard who's life is in constant turmoil. Between the loss of her parents, heavy drinking and divorce, her quality of life was disintegrating before her eyes. Even though she accepted help from her aunt and uncle, her futile attempts to get back on her own two feet and rise above her desperation, landed her in the middle of compromising situations in and out of the prison walls. She refused the help from her best friend who could only stand by and watch her self-destructive behavior push her further away from him and closer to a greater depth of despair. Which ultimately led her to a disturbing Quirk of Fate.
