What is "Touched by the Other". Truthfully it is a combination of fiction with a huge dose of reality interspersed. It is fictional in as much as I have changed some names, have omitted a few details, and took a little bit of creative license in order to give the Chapters a more entertaining read. I didn't want to make it too intense all the time and I found that once in a while a little bit of fantasy can feed our soul. However most of it, and by that I mean a good 80% is biographical in nature. The spirit world or what you may call the paranormal has been a big part of my life since I was 7 years old. I have seen, encountered, experienced things which have often times made me question my own sanity and which have given me a completely different outlook on life. When they say that reality is often stranger then fiction, they are not kidding. It took many years to get used to some of the "gifts" that were given to me, and truth be told, there are times when they feel more like a burden and a curse. There are a lot more things between "heaven and earth" than most of us will ever know and understand. The universe we know is not the only Universe out there. The Parallel worlds are very much in existence. When you begin to traverse between the "worlds", when your spirit begins to merge with the other - those beings that are not of the human species and you begin to learn lessons from them - your life changes in ways that are nothing short of fantastical and dare I say, miraculous, in its own right. They do walk among us, they are very real, and you never know when you meet someone who is "touched by the other".
