I have enjoyed many devotionals throughout my lifetime. Each day I would read a new devotional; however, if there was a really good one - where I wanted to dig deeper 'later', I wouldn't have time to do so. Then the next days devotional was here, and, before I knew it, I forgot all about digging deeper. I have often thought it would be great to find a devotional that would let me 'stew' over it for a whole week. My intentions with this devotional/journal was to fill this void. Each weekly devotional is designed to draw you in deeper, to help you marinate on the weekly topic, and inspire you to discover where you are spiritually. I wrote this devotional using experiences from my own life, showing how practical application of God's Word has impacted me. I tried to focus on experiences that I think most of us have experienced as we journey through life. Early Christians were known not as Christians, but followers of the Way. Jesus said he was the Way, the Truth and the Life. This title was fitting! Today, we have so many distractions. The Way is still the same, but can be lost in the wide array of broad paths society showers us with. I have picked many broad paths in my life, veering off the narrow way, and having to find my way back. These devotionals are designed to show how to find the right path again and practically continue to discern the right path from the wrong path.
