Patient-Centered Care (PCC) is a broad concept with no uniform definition, PCC is differently understood in different countries, regions and institutions and sometimes among people from the same organization; one of the most influential models of PCC is Planetree which is a Person-Centered Care Model based on a holistic approach, it presents different challenges for implementation in different health care systems and cultures; this work analyzes the different obstacles and feasibility of implementing the Planetree in Israel as well as in other countries; you will learn from the experience of fourteen managers, senior directors and advisors from nine countries together with an updated literature review on the subject.
