Thoughts matter / thoughts turns to words / words into action / Think on these things, Good things / Our words are alive, they can manifest good things or bad things. Positive words bring life. This title alone makes us ask ourselves, "Mind, what are you thinking?" When a thought comes to our mind and we can't immediately discern its origin, we ask ourselves ... Is this thought "of God", "the devil - not of God" or my flesh? We should be able to discern if it doesn't line up with the Word of God. If we can't discern immediately, don't dwell on that thought, because the devil is very deceptive. He knows how to sugar coat things, so what I have learned to do is speak God's word. This scripture; 2 Corinthians 10:5 is very effective in separating the part that was meant for evil, yet keeps the good part, so that we may learn from it. I know that this scripture is very effective, because first God said so (Hebrews 4:12 and 2 Timothy 3:16) and it has worked in my life every time."Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ 2 Corinthians 10:5""For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Hebrews 4:12""All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness 2 Timothy 3:16"
