After Chip and Skip's last adventure made things tricky at home, they decide to leave the magic glasses alone for a while. But the glasses have a different plan and before they know it the time-travelling siblings are sent back to 1966 where they meet an old friend, make a new one and face off against a couple of kidnappers who want to stop England winning the football World Cup.
Not only do Chip and Skip have to sort out the past, though, they need to get back and solve the problems their time travelling has caused in the present!
