The Sound in the Silence (The Sound in the Silence Saga) (Volume 1) Jared Heath 2. izdevums

We all believe--or want to believe--in redemption. Whether it's watching a criminal reform himself as in Sydney Carton of A Tale of Two Cities, or cheering for the beleaguered who suffer the consequences of someone else's actions, like Adam Trask in East of Eden, we need to believe their redemption so that we can believe in ours.
But how far does our belief in others go? How far is too far to be able to retrace your footsteps and find your way home? Is there such a thing as the unredeemable? And for those who suffer innocently, how do they  reconcile their condition to the benevolence of Providence? Is life nothing more than the events that surround us? And perhaps most importantly of all, how can a person who has been indelibly harmed by another's faults and actions learn his or her self-worth again and master their destiny?
A story of loss and redemption, The Sound in the Silence is the first installment in a saga of identity, sacrifice, and bringing all things to light.
