My Private French Class was conceived to provide college level material to self-learners aiming for fluency. The beginning levels build strong foundations in grammar and conjugation, allowing students to master one of the most important language elements - sentence structure. Turning knowledge into muscle memory Our simple method constantly stimulates the memory with short but frequent repetitions to ensure temporary knowledge reaches the long-term memory, which is necessary for fluency. Unlike other teaching methods, ours engages the reader in the study of several grammar and conjugation lessons, which are reinforced each week through short exercises. As the class content evolves from month to month, the Révisions (Review) section helps keep memories active through constant recall, which strengthens the previously acquired knowledge. This book consists of twelve, 90-minute exercise sessions. The student should do them in the order given due to the progression of the exercises' difficulty. It is recommended to do only one session a week to allow the student the necessary time to review and perfect the exercises. Each session will end with an invitation to read a section of My French Passport, our reading and comprehension series, to continue the learning experience and reinforce the acquired knowledge. The grammar and conjugation contents of both My French Passport and My Private French Class are intentionally identical to facilitate the reading experience and increase self-confidence.
