A sleepy Hamlet on the east end of Long Island... A peaceful playground, but what lies beneath may change human civilization, even human evolution... forever. Danny, a self-centered playboy, has finally fallen in love. Or, is he an unwitting pawn in the young woman's quest to save her ancient, secret world. Unsure of her motives, he follows her even when his own memories are suspect. Danny, his best friend, Aaron, and Aaron's girlfriend, Sarah, get caught up in a tangled web of sexual pleasure and deceit, as they try to save another society from imminent extinction. Their search takes them into the deep and uninhabited section of the Earth's inner crust. Danny gets caught in Ilmartutar's subterranean world and takes chances that could cause his end. With the entire city of Akkadia chasing after him, the different worlds collide in a massive war that must bring peace. Sympathetic Akkadians might side with Danny and Ilmartutar. Although they might pay the ultimate price for their treason. The East End of Long Island must survive the confrontation between the two sides. But with their memories compromised, the possibilities of a favorable outcome are hopeless.
