Driftwood: a Collection of Works by Violet Overmyer
Violet Overmyer
Driftwood is a collection of wonderful poems, preceded by a delightful short story. The true-life account, Quacker House, The Raising of Six Ducks, will appeal to children as well as the young at heart. Violet Overmyer penned this story and her award winning poems in the late 1930s and early 1940s. Like pieces of driftwood, her works finally came to shore at Brass Hinge Publishing. Step back in time and enjoy her charming view of life. These are thoughts, written by a loving schoolteacher, from an era when life was more than just living.
