It is difficult to write inspring material and relate good news wrested from difficult setbacks without falling into cliche, self pity and perhaps smug self appreciation, but she has managed to avoid all these quagmires admirably. Anyone who is interested in survival stories, love stories, or who would like to belong to a large and loving family for a while will greatly enjoy this book.
