Born to a family of British diplomats during WWII, Venetia Rumbold was never expected to reach adulthood. Struck with a life?threatening encephalitis at the age of eight, her journey with God began when she was miraculously healed six years later. Remarkably, she grew up to work as a nurse in England before discovering the Youth With A Mission movement (YWAM). She served as a missionary with YWAM for over a decade, helping to establish vital ministries for the underprivileged in Colombia and Peru.
