Andrew Killick was brought up in Surrey, studied Classics at Oxford and then taught Latin and Greek at schools in Southampton, Paris and Yarm. He is a Reader at All Saints Preston on Tees in the Diocese of Durham. Retirement in 2012 has brought more opportunities for such interests as Chess, Golf, Croquet and playing in a local orchestra.
