Descent into Madness: the Chronicles of Bree Catherine Woods-field 1. izdevums

There came the darkness. Before the darkness, there was life. Time seemed endless and possible, but the darkness shattered that. The darkness ate the purity, the youth, and the soul. Like a flash of watercolor sunset fading into a forbidden and hellish night went my innocence. This - these words - are all that remain... Bree was a nun - an innocent - tragically forced from her life of solitude into the world of eternal night. Now a vampire, Bree travels through the centuries, observing humanity's toxic beauty. From plague stricken England to modern day Chicago, she watches the world evolve, changing while she remains unchangeable. Her vampiric gifts, and those she's loved along the way, do not alter one fact: eternity is painfully lonely. And when Bree's certain madness has finally consumed her, it takes the power of an amulet to end her descent into madness.
