Silent No More reveals Lopez's journey through spousal abuse and how she broke the vicious cycle. As a teenager, Lopez met Blake and only five months later, she was pregnant. Even though Lopez was too young to legally marry, she and Blake were wed. But it was the beginning of her first abusive relationship. Blake frequently hit her during and after her pregnancy, and then began to take out his anger on their son. After her fourth child, Lopez finally abandoned the marriage only to end up with another abuser. She subsequently had two more children. Now living free from violence, Lopez hopes to encourage other women to speak out against abuse. Silent No More exposes one woman's triumph over the deadly cycle of abuse and offers hope to those suffering from domestic violence.
