Two Women in Africa: the Ultimate Adventure Jean Dunham

Jean and Maggie spent over thirty-years of their lives educating young people, both dreaming of traveling to exotic lands during their retirement years. In March 2003, Jean and Maggie both retired early, and fulfilled their long-held dreams to travel on an African safari, in Kenya and Tanzania. Two Women in Africa: The Ultimate Adventure is a humorous, fast-moving account of the rigors Jean and Maggie faced, while experiencing several unique, and outlandish adventures on safari. The two women, caught up in the politics as war broke out between Iraq and the United States, sensed the hostility toward Americans. Fascinating African culture, and spectacular scenery are described throughout the book. Jean takes you along on their journey through rough, and dangerous land; home to thousands of Masai tribal members, to discover and explore their unique culture. Thrilling descriptions of African wildlife enhance Jean's account of their daily safaris, including close encounters of the ferocious kind. Read how they turned their dreams of Kenya and Tanzania into reality.
