Debra, her mother, Maria, and husband John move North to a secluded area in the woods. They purchase the old house that belonged to the Clemmons, who have since passed away. John bought the house, never realizing they would have a house guest living with them: The ghost of Mrs. Clemmons. John continues as a detective with the local police. Debra's best friend, Rose, and her husband, James, are living with his parents, Angelina and Jason Hamm next door. Jason and James are doctors, working together in the same office building in the small town. Mrs. Smith is back!!
