Self Discovery: Prose and Poems: a Journey from Pain to Purpose Lisa Williams

An exceptional and gripping firsthand account through poetry chronicling the life of a child that is sexually, physically, and mentally abused and then abandoned at the age of 12. Her migration from childhood abuse to adulthood takes you through her struggles and issues dealing with faith, forgiveness, brokenness, and healing the hurt to self discovery. She now stands renewed and celebrates each new discovery of self with great joy and honesty! Lisa Williams illuminates for us the path that many other survivors of abuse travel in order to find peace and joy for a sweet tomorrow. A catalyst for healing many victims and survivors of abuse. A truly awesome creation that must be shared if we are ever to heal the hurt of our daughters, sisters, aunts, mothers, and wives.
