"Can I Be Your Friend?" is a book for infants and toddlers to be read at bedtime or during story time at daycare. It will help children begin to understand at an early age that they are not alone while showing them how to make friends no matter what race they are.




The book is based on the character Bottop, which is a product that the author invented in the form of a special baby bottle cap. Bottop starts out thinking he is alone and wants to find a friend. He discovers a new world when his box is opened, and he meets a lot of other bottle caps that are like him but in different colors. Bottop ends up finding many friends in the end.
