In the late 1940's, James Teel had a decision to make. As a young college student working part time in the hospital, he was on the path to becoming a Baptist pastor and, as he envisioned it, probably in a small county seat somewhere in Texas. However, being around the medical world, he also felt the urge to become a doctor. As he gazed out on "buttermilk" skies from the rooftop at work one night, he prayed for guidance.
