Praying the Psalms E a Bowser

If we are being completely honest with ourselves, we tend to get very repetitive & uncreative in our daily prayers. We might thank the Lord for the day, and then ask him for a few things from off of our ÒneedsÓ list. Maybe we throw out a prayer for our wife & kids, and maybe on a really ÒspiritualÓ day, we even pray for the poor and needy! But it seems that our prayers never get much deeper than that, and deep down inside we convince ourselves that praying Òwith all of our beingÓ is just meant for those ÒspiritualÓ or ÒfanaticalÓ Christians. So, we just keep going on, day by day, with our heartless, religious prayers. So, we ask ourselves: WhatÕs the solution? What if IÕm just not that creative? IÕve never been good with putting words together, how do I know what & how to pray? How do I keep thinking of new things to say to God?
