NEW KANADA is very proud to present a true gem - Murr’s elegant “Sunday Morning”. This track has been floating around for months, but has never been commited to vinyl until now. Supported equally by nu-disco jocks, the deep house afficiandos, the emotional “indie” crowd, and even the hard techno crew. Elevating itself beyond genres, this monster will light up even the darkest of corners. Remixes of two other Murr tracks, “Forgotten” and “Superior”, are included on the flip. Mood Edit’s raw house remix of “Forgotten” features a micro-edit collage of the masterful guitar skills of Takeshi Nishimoto (from “I’m Not A Gun” project with John Tejada). Masterful, loose jamming permeates this mix and results in accidental moments of magic. Somewhere between Shazz and and Akufen, this mix will warm the winter blues. Next up is Marc Schneider and Dan M’s remix of “Superior”. With it’s aggressive swing and early jack vibe, this mix is made for the DJ’s to surgically manipulate the floor. Both Marc and Dan have an innate ability to distill a track down to it’s most basic parts, and recombine everything into some serious bombs in the classic house vein. This is mix raises the bar even further.
