Originally released in 1962, *'Monk's Dream'* is the first LP **Thelonious Monk** released on Columbia Records in 1963. The **Monk Quartet** here consist of on the tenor sax **Charlie Rouse**, on the bass **John Ore** and on the drums **Frankie Dunlop** and of course the man himself on the piano. This CD version includes four bonus tracks. The bonus tracks are different takes from *'Monk's Dream', 'Body & Soul', 'Bright Mississippi'* and *'Blue Bolivar Blues'.*
