**The Shocking Blue** *'Live In Japan'* was recorded in July 1971 at the Kosei Nenkin Hall in Tokyo and includes massive hit songs such as *'Venus'*, *'Hot Sand'*, *'Never Marry A Railroad Man'* and *'Shocking You'*. **Shocking Blue** were a Dutch rock band, founded in 1967 by guitarist **Robbie van Leeuwen.** After the charismatic **Mariska Veres** took over on vocals, the group charted a worldwide hit with the song *'Venus'*.
