**Samantha Barks'** heart-rending portrayal of *Eponine* in *Les Misérables* showed her capabilities as an amazing singer. Since that role she appeared in theater-productions like *'Oliver!'* and *'Cabaret'.* Her eponymous debut album brings together musical and timeless songs, including *'As Long As He Needs Me'* (from *Oliver*), *'This House Is Empty Now'* (*Burt Bacharach* and *Elvis Costello*), and of course, *Les Misérables' 'On My Own'.*
Listen to the absolutely beautiful *'On My Own'* [here](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mB0n3FUbRKc).
