[SOMETHING]That certain something. The nature of it. To hear the essence of the music doesn't come easily, but it's simple. Everything says something, just listen... It took Seven three years to record their second album - 12 songs that had developed between the three founding band members for a long time. Alexander Stern, songwriter, singer, drummer and bassist is accompanied by guitarist Tom Hoppe, whose playing is sometimes exacting and sometimes rougher. Alexander's brother, keyboard player Stefan Stern, had a difficult time recording because he moved to Montana/USA awhile back. In the end, mixing-engineer Daniel Nimz took care of the production and the renown UFO-Studios in Berlin put on the finishing touches. The album was released on alstar-music in January 2008 and it sounds as if someone has cleaned the dust from Seven's debut record making it clean, powerful, deep. Lose yourself...
