Memphis Slim
One of the most revered blues pianist/vocalists of the 1940s, '50s, and '60s, Tennessee native John Len Chatman, better known as Memphis Slim, was also a prolific writer whose songs have become classics of the blues lexicon. Slim is represented here during his later expatriate days in France, performing in fine fashion. Featuring "Cold Blooded Woman," "Big Bertha," "Pigalle Love" and many other fine compositions. All selections newly remastered.
