Peter Blau's interest in playing the guitar started around age twelve, when he got tired of playing air guitar and pretending with lacrosse sticks. He became inspired to play from watching the guitarist in his older brother's rock band and then decided to take guitar lessons. After playing in a band for a few years with a childhood friend that played the bass and knew music theory well, Peter was amazed by how knowing the nuts and bolts of music improved and affected his bud's playing. He then came to the realization that he needed to know the inner workings of music. This led him to enroll in a music program at Five Towns College in New York. This opened up a world of learning how to be creative in many ways that he had never before experienced. His passion for music has not ceased for the past 25 years or so and counting. Peter also went to school to learn audio engineering which gave him the technological foundation to be able to engineer this project. Over the years, Peter played with many musicians and was in a variety of different bands from rock, jazz, blues, country, pop, and gospel. There were even some attempts with bands to do originals. This gave him a well rounded exposure to different styles of music. Then he stumbled across 'fusion' in it's various forms which influenced him greatly. It fused the different styles that he enjoyed playing. Peter always desired to make a living in the music industry whether it was playing and or engineering, but life took him on some different paths that would not allow that to happen. He never gave up his dream of someday being able to produce an original work. As time passed, music technology changed so much and got to a point where it became possible for musicians to craft their music affordably. He took a long hard look as to whether or not he should invest in the needed tools to attempt this huge endeavor. Working full time and taking care of a family of six he did not have the funds nor time required to hire a producer, a recording engineer/studio and quality studio musicians. So he decided to try the current music technology and was able to accomplish what you are about to hear. Enjoy!
