Chaos Theory Nova

A lot of people say my music sounds like Steely Dan or that my songs have the biting wit of Beck. I suppose there's some truth to that but it's not intentional believe me. I'll be just hanging out when Bam!! some idea hits me and suddenly I'm playing guitar or banging out some chords on my keyboard or wailing away into my microphone. I make all my music alone with the exception of when I work with a guest musician. But when I'm writing a new song I never feel alone. I feel like there's a whole band at work, invisibly there beside me helping me to compose the music and write the words. And the verses and choruses, the bits and pieces come together eventually melding into a fixed moment in time to be remembered forever in the digital domain. From New York City, Nova is a true Renaissance man. He has written and produced over 200 songs and played in bands such as Speedway Blvd, Noman, Zu Zu\'s Petals, The Heat, Big Business and Skull as well as having shared the stage with Carrie Hamilton, Dennis St. James and Richie Cannata . Additionally, Nova is well known as a poet and in 1995 Nova won 3rd place in the Hockney Literary Awards. Nova is also an accomplished fine artist who has painted award winning paintings which have appeared in galleries throughout the US and Canada.
