30 Irish Set Dances the Official List Michael Fitzpatrick

This CD is a compilation of the original 30 Set Dances approved by An Coimisiun le Rinci Gaelacha for competitive Irish Step dancing on the championship level at feiseanna worldwide. The accompaniment of all these tunes is recorded with a simple piano background to the accordion soloist to emulate what the dancer might hear at a live competition. The metronome speeds are all in accordance with the guidelines set out for competitive championship dancing by An Coimisiun le Rinci Gaelacha, the governing body of Irish Dancing based in Dublin Ireland. This is Michael Fitzpatrick's first solo CD release.
